LS done, finally (pics)
From a new stereo, to exhaust, to rims...she's done. And yes, those are the infamous Zenetti Five's...my set is flawless (had them for a few months now). They are wrapped in phenomenal Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's (245/45ZR18). This setup gives no loss in ride quality, no lowering needed, no fender rolling, and is moderately priced ($2600 wheels and tires):

drop that ride man, put some clear corners in the front, smoke out your tails or buy the red/clear taillights.. and go for the supra TT brake upgrade... then you'll be set

Reasons for doing what I did:
$2600 was WITH the Goodyears...alone they would have been around $1600. I specifically did NOT want to spend an insane amount of money on rims for a car that is well over a decade old (though it only has 84K on the odometer).
Going with that wheel and tire size combo affoded me the luxury of NOT lowering the car or suffering any ride quality. Nothing against lowering at all, but it's an added cost and hassle (gotta be careful where you drive). I dig the LS's natural stance, the tire size looks right because it is almost the same tire diameter as stock.
As for clearing out all the lights and what not, I actually like the amber colored turn-signals.
Gotta have limo tint...quite frankly, it doen't help when it's 110+ degrees but it looks cool as hell. I like how it accents the chrome window trim. It's impossible to see at night though!
Bottom line is, I love this damn car! I'm just an average guy who makes an average amount of money...but the layman doesn't know that looking at some of our beautiful 1st gen LS's!

I understand you don't want to lower the car but your car is raised higher another inch due to your aftermarket rims. You have to lower that bad boy or else it will look hideous.

Stock tire for 93 LS:
225/60R16
Sidewall: 5.3 in
Radius: 13.3 in
Diameter: 26.6 in
Circumf: 83.7 in
Aftermarket tires:
245/45ZR18
Sidewall: 4.3 in
Radius: 13.3 in
Diameter: 26.7 in
Circumf: 83.8 in
Technically, the car is what...a TENTH of an inch higher?

Nope, only 1/2 a tenth of an inch higher (26.7 - 26.6) / 2 = 0.05 inches.
Everyone talks about dropping the car, and yes it would look nicer if dropped, But I think most people ignore how bad the smaller disc brakes look when you go to a larger size (open spoke) wheel. That is the reason why I like the OEM stock 95-97 LS wheels, or the AMG monoblocks.
They cover up the discs no matter the diameter of the wheel.

I think the 4piston calipers look good with bigger wheels.
