I'm looking to sell my 93 LS400, 159K miles, in great shape, all major service done by Lexus of Palm Beach (the car is in NYC now), but before I officially put it on the market... how much should I ask for it? Is 8K or 7500 too much?

You can ask for $7K on the Ad, but expect around $6K or so.

Considering I paid $8k for my 1995 LS with Nak and all, in mint condition, with 122k miles, 6 months ago, your price seems high. But I have seen Gen 1 LSes being sold for even higher to people who are star stuck by these cars. Considering the Gen 2 is infinitely superior to the Gen 1, I would not pay $8k for a Gen 1. As I said, you may succeed in selling it for as much as $9k if you find the right guy.
