Default Noise when turning steering wheel!! HELP!!!

Hello

I own a 1991 LS400, one week ago I had a transmission and engine oil change done to the car. When I was driving home from getting the car serviced it operated normally with no noises, but the next day I started the car and after 1 second the car stalled (engine turned off), I turned it on again but this time when the engine was running the was a banging noise in the engine (the higher I revved it the faster it banged) , I let the car run for a while and the engine noise went away. Ever since then when my car is in park and I turn my steering wheel (right or left) I hear a noise, this isn’t the normal power steering noise it’s much louder. When I’m driving and turn I hear a whine that wasn’t there before. What caused this? How do I fix it?
I also heard that the power steering pump is a problem in our cars.

Thanks in advance.
Yuri

Id check all the electrical connections in your engine. They may have accidentally, or purposely, left something off to make it stall.

Are you still having the same problems?

Take a look at the power steering pump. Check for ANY signs of leaking around the bottom of it. Also check the steering rack (under the car). I'm pretty sure that the noise you hear when the wheel is turned means there is a restriction in the power steering system. The rack or pump. Most LS power steering pumps wear out in time. Well, the seals in the pump wear out which causes the leaking. Clogged filters restrict the flow of fluid.
