Question Help?? Motor and trans mounts for 2000 LS

Can anyone tell me where to buy (other than dealer @ $160/each) the two front motor mounts as well as the trans mount. I have tried multiple online parts places and noone has access to them???

Just bought a great 2000 LS that needs the above.

Thanks in advance

Inspector,

Try any number of the discount online Toyota/Lexus parts dealers. Or Carson Toyota/Lexus has great service and they are a vendor here.

BTW, I also have a 2000 LS. What did you notice that give you the tip about the engine/trans mounts? Do these really go bad that fast?

They usually practically never go bad ever unless they are subjected to quite a bit of stress, especially at older age. But if you drive sanely they should practically last as long as the car.

Usually with your trans mount gone bad you will feel the transmission very noticably shift from front to back when you hit the gas hard, and vice versa with the brakes.

Usually you have multiple engine mounts though, so unless all of them go out, it won't really shift around much at all... with one mount gone (depending on the mount) you might just notice the engine vibrating a little more than usual (visually if you watch it in the engine bay) or might notice a little more noise and vibration communicated into the cabin.

Smile Motor mounts

Thanks guys for the input. A bit unusual, but the car is in mint shape. Davenport motors did not thinks it was too big of a deal. Might have been bad from the get go.

I will try Carson Toyota. Also, any other rec's on accessories without changing the original too much.???

Thanks again
