Default Emergency Help & opinions needed!!

Just had an odd occurence in my 94LS. Seems to be intermittent & electrical in nature.

My vehicle temporarily lost all electrical power while driving!

The engine died. Sometimes it would temporarily re-start & not idle others times nothing.
Hazard lights would not even flash for a time.

Was getting ready to call AAA , when I re-started & made a trouble free , no symptoms drive home.

What is going on here??

I need help!! damon

Check the ground wire.
If this doesn't have any effect, take it in immediately.

its not likely, but check your fuses as well, just for safety

Default Best Guess?

From searching here is:

I have the dreaded PS fluid leak onto the alternator.

If these are the initial signs of this, how much damage have I done to my alternator?

The service tech I just called said the battery light will come on but it may not depending on the circumstance. I dunno if this is the same for the LS, on my other Toyota, when the alternator failed, I got a brake, check eng and battery warning lights. The battery will power the car for a short time before it drains.

Get it in...you don't want to be stranded!
