I had a problem with my 1991 ls 400: the moment I turn one my lights when I was driving, the rivers (R) light at the dash come one and the transmission start to reverse to go back, even when I was driving in (D) to go ahead. The moment I turn the lights off this problem stop, but I was not happy with this situation because if I drive in the night I need the back up lights and the tell lights. I call a man from a repaire shop from Texas (1 214 221-3135) and he ask me to look in the trunk of the car left side and see if the wires are ok. The wires in the trunk of the car was cut and this was the reason for the strange behaves of the lights and transmission problem. Hope that will helps others with the same problem that I had.
