Chrome or Pearl Black? - Pics
Here are some pics of my 96 LS400. I was thinking of getting pearl black emblems. Should I just go with chrome instead? Tell me what you think.
Notice the taillight are a bit darkened, and the front grille is chromed.

Your car looks very good !
But do you think black chrome will look good on your car ?
I personally wouldn't put anything chrome at all. Polished alloys maximum. Gives more consistent look to the car IMHO.
Put mekki pillars on your car - with polished alloys will look way better.
My 2 cents.

With smoked red/clear tails and smoked clear front corners this car will look fantastic

I think Black Pearl emblem looks cool and very modern, the only gripes I have about them is when you mount a one on the front grill, it looks like you've lost your emblem from afar................

If you notice, the rear emblems are gold and I want to get rid of them! I started by first changing the front one after I chromed the grille.

Ask someone in the Photo-shop forum thread if they can take your rear shot photo and redo it in chrome so you see what it looks like. Then post the pic in here.

Chrome looks good on that picture SharpLS-96 made for you. I myself never look at what everyone else is doing. Im speaking on the black pearl emblems everyone seems to be doing now. All cars won't look the same as another with black pearl emblems, and yours is a classic 1996, one of my favorite years of the LS. That year and body style needs no improvements, classic, pure classic, the cars looks great.
