Almost all of the red 1st Gen. Ls400 i have seen are monotone. was this something only the red ones had. just about all of the other colors i think have the 2 tone exterior color. just curious

By red, I'm guessing you mean the burgundy-ish color? I'm pretty sure that they're originally 2 tone just like all the other color combos, at least from what I've seen so far. The only monotone 1st gen that comes to mind is juicen's.

yeah im talking about the burgundy one... ive seen a couple on the road and i think all the ones ive seen have been monotone

Is your car the same color as mine? The window sticker calls it "dark walnut".

The interior is a "no so attractive" (in my opinion) brown.

Was this the only interior color with this exterior color?

Yours may be a little lighter, but I think they may be the same. Not sure if Lexus would offer a totally different color that close in the same year. What year is your car? Also too- my camera is not the best and it tends to make the car look a little darker than it actually is- but it is a really dark burgundy color. My front bumper is the same color as the rest of the car, but the lower cladding on the doors and rear bumper is a lighter color- similar to the seats and carpeting. Actually, my interior is like a 2-tone brown. Some areas are a dark brown (instrument panel, headliner, "A", "B" and "C" pillar trim -and other areas (such as seats, carpeting are a lighter brown or a very light rose color. I still have not been able to figure it out, except that I am not too keen about the color.

Also, your car appears to be in much better condition on the exterior than my car. My car has its fair share of parking lot dings and scratches.
