Default Newbie Hello!

Hi folks,
I've just joined your forum, it seems like the best source of information on the LS400! I'm looking at purchasing an LS400 in the not too distant future, just wondering if you could give me any helpful hints or interesting general information on this nice cars. I'm from Australia, and I will be looking at importing a 1990 Toyota Celsior (which is a LS 400 in Japan) from Japan. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I need to look for in order to get a good car?
Thanks for the help,
Cheers,
Tim

Welcome to CL

If your getting it from japan I guess it will be hard what you should look for. Its more like cross your fingers and hope nothing is wrong w/ it. Over all you will get more options in the car then if you were to get it from the U.S. I would say just try to get one that has the least amount of milage/Km on it. If its stock no Mods most likely someone older had the car and I think you would have better luck that way.

Hopefully everything works out for you....... good luck

Thanks for the help, I was originally going to look at getting one that was already modified. But now I think I'll just look for a nice stock car that hasn't been owned by a boy racer. I think I'll do it up myself, I would really like the WALD Exchange V3 body kit on it.
Thanks for the help,
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks Dave, but that website was how I found my way here! There's lots of useful information there which I have already discovered, thanks for the reference though.
Cheers,
Tim
