My girlfriend ran over some road debris and bent one 17" rim on her 2002 LS430. Does anyone know where I can purchase the 17" rim at a discount price? The local Lexus dealer charges $520 to &570 for one. Thanks for your help.

Not sure where to send you to get a replacement.

But sometimes if it isn't bent too bad, then a good tire place might be able to straighten it for about $50-$100. Just a thought, since it would be significantly less than the $5xx price tag you listed.

Isn't the spare the same wheel? You could use that and find a cheaper wheel and use the cheaper wheel as a temperory spare instead of a replacement.

I've done that on a few cars. Just swap it with the spare...but remember, you only get one "get out of jail free" card.

Thanks, guys. The rim is cut on the edge that it's not usable anymore. The damage is more severe than I originally thought. We have called a few local shops and noone seems to be able to fix it. We thought about getting a cheap wheel for the spare, but it has to fit in the slot in the trunk. We might have to get a new one from Lexus

Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. I took out a $600 mirror last year!
