Hey mingsterso, first off.....
......your car looks great!! ....I too am planning to put larger wheels on my 2000 LS, which I recently bought from my uncle, and would like to know if you're having any RUBBING PROBLEMS with the new wheel/tire combo (especially when the steering wheel is turned to the "fully turned" position)???........and what size tires have you got on there???

Rubbing Problems
I havent had any problems with rubbing at all even when the steering wheel is fully turned. The tires I have on the wheels are 245-45-20 for the front and 275-40-20 for the rear. I love the look because I rarely see mesh rims on the LS. My only concern now is installing the H&R springs I have. I hope it doesnt rub after I install the springs.
By the way does anyone know where I can get a body kit for this car at a decent price?
Ive been looking into a few kits from Japan but they are all pretty expensive. The one I am really interested in it the Wald exuctive which is a lip kit so that I dont need a full bumper exchange.

For Wald, I heard that D2Autosport may be an authorized dealer so check with him. Steve at Carson Toyota should have a good selection too.

Thanks for all the complements and suggestions on where I should check out for the body kit I want. I really hope I can find one for a decent price or else I might have to have one shipped from Japan the next time I go down there to visit my girlfriend.
Hopefully Steve at Carson Toyota or D2 can hook me up.
After the bodykit I guess it is time to work on the video system for the rear seats and some interior details like a Wald shift **** and wood dash kit.

you are going to lose that ride you love so much with 20s'. why people sacrifice looks for ride I dont know, but its your perogative. I went to 18s because they make my ls look better and handle better WITHOUT sacrificing too much ride quality. I can feel the difference between the 17/55 and 18/45 wheel. some say 19s are the limit for ride quality but 20s go over the line. hope youre lucky though and like it.

Looks great. Dont forget to release/reset all the lower suspension arm bushes when you lower the car or they'll tear themselves up and it will ride like an old truck after a few months 
Un-do them all, sit the car back down on the wheels (ie roll-on hoist), then do them all back up and get it aligned

I also love the look of the 98-2000 UCF20s. This is the model year I will be looking to replace my 91 when the time comes.
