Default Moderate Braking Causes Shifter To Move

I noticed on my 3 month, 2700 mile old '03 LS430 that when you brake moderately hard (but not SEVERLEY hard) and you have your right hand on the "stick shift", you can feel it move as if it's attached (which it is!) to the transmission and the braking momentum is forcing the tranny back. It's not really a problem, but somewhat surprising for an otherwise flawless car. I have owned MANY other luxury makes with the center "stick shift" and never noticed this before. Perhaps it WAS there (on other cars)...and I just didn't notice. Anyone else notice this and what do you all think about it? I assume it's a harmless idiosyncracy of this model, at worst.

Mine does the same thing, but keep in mind my car is about
ten years older than yours. It has always done it since I bought
it, I thought it was normal.
