Default 2001 Voice commands

Hello i am just wondering if anyone has a 2001 LS430 and if it recognizes radio commands like fm or seek. I tried it but it doesnt seem to work and i really like to use a voice activated radio please help. Thanks

did you check the '03 command list I posted in another thread in this forum? The '01-'03 commands should be the same and yes there are "fm", "fm 1", "fm 2", "seek up", and "seek down" commands.

I tried it today but it doesnt recognize my commands i said radio and fm1 like 5 times and it puts out local POI it say system is showing the higher education or Japanese restaurant. Please help i would love to have radio commands. thanks

Looks like I was wrong. I just looked at the '01 users manual and can't find the pages I have in my '03 manual that references the audio commands. Seems a little odd that the commands are not the same since little changed across the '01-'03 models. Sorry.
