Talking New website for LS400 info & tutorials

A while ago I decided that I would start up a website for LS400 information and tutorials. I have tons of server space and I thought it would be fun and helpful for many people, mainly visitors of this forum. This is the first "public" release of my site. I have been working on it in my spare time for a few days so it's still a work in progress. There aren't that many tutorials up yet, but I will be adding more over the next week or so. Any constructive criticism is welcomed. I want to hear what you all think.

http://www.pearsonimaging.com/LS

As I said, it's a work in progress. If you have any resources for me please post.

Thanks,

Carl

Good job on the website. Although why is it only for the first gen? Its really stressful searching for DIY maintenance instruction in clublexus, and I was thinking of doing a tech page just like that. Keep it up I might send you some how tos of my own.

It's only for the first gen because that's what I own and know. The tutorials would probably work for 2nd gen LS's too but I'm not sure. I would love to also include info for the 2nd gen LS00's and even LS430's but that info has to come from others. So, if you or anyone would like to submit a tutorial for me on anything I would be happy to add it. If we all pool together our information we can build a very extensive site .

That's a good start. Please keep it up!

Documenting the change of spark plugs, spark plug wires and rotor caps would be a big one.

I know, I'm probably not going to have that one up for a while since it's getting cold here, but who knows.

A links page is on my to do list. Retrodrive's & Lextreme's sites will be on there for sure. If anyone has other good LS links please post them. Thanks.

Hello There,

I just went to your web-site. It looks good for a start, especially the very pictorial procedures. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

Regards, LamSV

Great info. Thanks for taking the time to document this for us.
Hopefully someone will be able to contribute a suspension spring swap too.

Good site !
Hope to see 2-nd gen as well.

PS:
Design note: can you change your stylesheets to make scroll bar visible ? It's real pain to scroll it down or up.

I worked on it for a while yesterday. I'm now trying to make it into a website and not just a page. I'm hoping to get that posted today.... I'll make the scroll bar more visible for ya Vik.

Any 2nd gen info or tutorials needs to come from 2nd gen owners. If you have something you would like to contribute I will post it and give you credit for the tutorial. That applies to any LS, the more tutorials the better.

Post LS

Just wanted to let you all know I've got a solid site design now. I've also changed it to http://www.pearsonimaging.com/LS so it can eventually cover all LS's. My appologies to those who added my site to their favorites. I call my site "LS." Pretty original huh!
