Hi guys, with summer finally here, I wanted to let you all know that my folks opened up a restaurant in Des Plaines, not far from where the old AMS shop was. They are having a car meet in the empty parking lot right next door that can handle 90 cars. I know that the AMS guys are bringing some cars and that the Honda S2KI guys are coming, and wanted to invite my fellow Lexus guys to join us. It would be nice to see lots of IS, GS, SC and IS-F cars there to represent.

To get the 15% off on the food at the restaurant, tell the cashier at the register that you are here with Angelo's IS350.

It would be great to catch up with you guys and meet new members since I last saw everyone at the Woodfield Lexus meet last year. Also, if you want to post this in other forums, that is cool. The more variety and different makes and model cars there, the better.

I am glad you liked the food and can vouch that the food is good!!! What did you have when you were there? The gyros aka gy-ro to some folk, is also excellent. It will also be nice to match names to faces this Saturday. Hopefully some more of the CL guys will respond if they can come.

Mike, you can blow off the office for an hour and come and visit us. Don't they give you a lunch break!!! If not this time, then the next time they do it, hopefully you can make it out there. And where is Brian hiding at? I have not seen him post in this thread yet!!

Also, if you guys want to plan on doing something after 5 pm when the car meet is done, let me know.

Did you go there when they did the Grand Opening and had the Gyros special? It was on a Saturday and it was a crazy day. They ran out of Gyros by 4 pm and had to close early!!
