Factory HIDs for ES 330 w/halogens
Hi everyone,
New member to the forum here. I recently picked up a 2005 ES 330 w/only 65k miles for my first car. Really enjoying it so far, but cannot get over the fact that it doesn't have the HIDs from the factory, it doesn't seem fitting for a Lexus and cheapens the overall premium look and feel of the car. Has anyone ever had the lights changed out for the HIDs and have a general cost estimate? May get this done over winter break.
Thanks!

I upgraded my 04 to the 05/06 style lights. Reused ballasts and changed D2R to D2S bulbs.
I highly recommend the Opt7 plug and play kit on Amazon for 100 bucks. I upgraded my 9005 highs and now H11 fogs with them, they are as bright as HID but water resistant and no high voltage required. I reused the 9005s as the LX has the same high beam standard. Check them out on Amazon. There's also cheaper kits in the 50 dollar range as well.
Carcarekiosk.com is helpful for changing any bulbs out. Your ES uses H11 for the lows, 9005 for high beam, and 9006 for the fogs.
