What the hell is "bumpness"??? LOL!!

Just jokin dude. Awesome vid...

HEY....which one is to adjust the horizontal beam pattern? There's 3 to choose from. I know that the one nearest the low beam is for the vertical. There's another on the inner side of the 9005/wedge casing. And finally the one between them.

Pete

EDIT: I thought you wanted to know where the vertical adjuster was

I actually have no idea where the horizontal beam adjuster is located. I wish I knew Could someone fill us in?

Rominl / Brendan -

Have you tried looking in your GS manual for this bolt....it's confusing as hell. The drawing doesn't even come close for the GS....and it only talks about 2 bolts to adjust either horizontal and vertical. No reference about a 3rd bolt. What's the deal here?

Looking for the bolt to adjust my HORIZONTAL beam pattern. I notice mine is kinda too close together.....wanna be generous to other drivers and spread the brightness around me....LOL!!!

Any ways....here's a pic....maybe someone would be kind enough to point out what #2 and #3 bolt is for. #1 bolt is for vertical adjustment.

Pete

bolt 3 is definitely weird, it probbly has nothing to do with headlight, maybe high beam or the nigt time parking light? bolt 2, if i have to guess, would be horizontal

Guys:

Thanks! Hope we can get some answers soon. I think we agree we dont really want to mess around with the bolts unless were sure its the correct one.

Default wow, I need a CL pager, so you can page me, I am honored..

I am not 100% sure on the 3rd bolts either, but from looking that the light (see pix below),
it is a single piece, if you need to adjust the horizontal, you probably need to adjust both #2, #3 to get what you want. Since 1 bolts will be stopped by the other one (1 piece design) so you need to adjust both, a bit a time. hope you get your answer, hee hee, (I think #2 and #3 also effect the vertical a bit also, but not much, just how they mounted the light) When i ever receive the service manuals, i will check again for ya.

i'll look over the light quickly tomorrow, just in case I am missing something.

i thought when you adjust the light, you don't adjust the housing but the postiion of the bulb/lens inside? at least that's the case when you adjust the verticle. the housing stays the same position, but the reflector inside changes position
