Default Best mod I've done: One light touch to the turnsignal stalk ..3 or 5 Flashes

Hi,
I mounted this adjustable 3 or 5 flashes Turn Signal Relay, years ago in my 2008 LS 600 hL...the best, cheapest and simplest modification that can be done to most Lexi's

TIPTRONIC comfort flasher relay
Upgrade to the comfort flasher
1x light tap on the turn signal stalk once = 3x flash (or by moving the switch outside the box You can get optional 5x flash)

Available for these (European models)....but believe the flasher will work for other countries versions as well...

Lexus CT200H, from model year 2010
Lexus GS300/430, model year 1997-2005
Lexus GS300/430, model year 2005-2009

How to connect it:
TIPTRONIC Blinker Relay, Standard Version.

Information for Lexus LS600h/600hL, Type USF 40/46

Advice: The ECU box You will find beside the Fusebox under the Driverside Instrumentboard.

For the 2007-2010 Models:
(wires coming from the Pekatronic box in LARGE letters)

BLACK KL-31 to KL-31 Earth, A good earthing point
RED KL+15 to Pink, Pin 11, 28 Pol. Contact in the ECU unit
WHITE to Isolate this wire
GREEN KL+49right to Yellow, Pin 21, 30 Pol. Grey contact in Fusebox
BLUE KL+49left to Green, Pin 22, 30 Pol. Grey contact in Fusebox
YELLOW Blinker Signal Impulse to KL-31 Earth
BROWN Impulse Right to Yellow, on the Blinker stalk
GREY Impulse Left to Green, on the Blinker stalk

If these connections and colors are the same as mine..You should be good to go :-)

Regards
Arvid

Yes it is that simple...and to change from 3 to 5 signals, just move the small connector outside the Pekatronic box, from left to right...I enclose the PDF instructions:1 for the LS 600 and 1 for the rest of the Lexus models (in German language)

for napstermik: They might also have it for Subaru...just ask them :-)

Here is a link to the company for those just reading english:-) :

Arvid

The enclosed pdf file: Tiptronic-Blinkrelais_3292_Lexus.pdf
will tell You where to connet the unit to most Lexus models
:
The first one is for the LS600..460 too ??:

I just looked at the website again and when I go to checkout it doesn't even have United States in the lists of countries to ship to... Any other ideas?

Send them an e-mail and ask if the would ship to USA....if they would not.....and I have very good experience with the company ..Very helpful....I was the first who asked if they could do it for my car...and they even got hold of a Workshop manual to see how the wires connected to the car..and they did it right on first try..
