EBAY bought bulbs.....Good HID lights or not????
One of the bulbs on my IS350 went out and when I called the dealer they wanted $160 PER bulb. Well since I'm replacing one, I might as well do both, but don't see myself paying $320 for two bulbs. When I cross referenced the part number (D4S) on ebay I found a PAIR of new bulbs for $40. Has anybody here ever purchase HID bulbs off of ebay and what kind of luck did you have with them?
6000K D4S XENON HID BULBS DIRECT REPLACEMENT FOR PHILIPS & OSRAM are the bulbs I bought

I purchased a pair a D2R hid 6k bulbs for my Optima 2 years ago. still work perfectly. I think they were $36 shipped. worth it IMO plus even if you need to replace them down the road it still doesn't equal the cost of Philips .
other option are bulbs from Retrofit source. $75 for the pair and they are very good. I have those in the Lexus
