Default DRL highbeams?

Hi All,

So I just purchased a 07 GS 350 AWD. I wanted to change out the high beam bulbs because its the stock brownish color is pretty ugly. I was trying to do some research but didn't find anything that answered my question.

My question is; by going LED DRL's, will it defeat the purpose of high beams? Such as, will it still beam out far distance still? or is this only going to be for looks?

I wanted to purchase these; please see the link
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r4.htm

PS: has anyone purchase these before? please details on pros and cons! =D

Any additional info and help will be appreciated!

LED's will no longer work as highbeams but will look really nice as DRL's. If you dont go out in the country much or live in a secluded area you honestly dont need high beams much except to **** off people on the highway when they cut you off lol. On my old LX 470 I went with LED drls and upgraded my low beams to more powerful HID's and they worked well enough so that high beams weren't as necessary.

I replaced them with 55w 6k HID's. What year is your GS anything without a projector wont be as bright as it should because the light will be dispersed.

Thanks LX for the reply! Yeah I came to the decision of just getting a pair of Nokya 65w 2500k yellow high beam bulbs. I didn't want to lose the distance of beam of the high beams due to the fact that I do some distance traveling during nights. I would love to have my whole front end all in white such as my fogs being 55w 5k HIDs, Stock HIDs, and LED parking light bulbs. But after doing some research I just gave in and got regular halogen bulbs, but made sure to change its color lol. The yellow looks nice IMOP though, but wish I could of got best of both worlds.
