1. You need to be more specific on what you have. Do you have HIDs? because our cars don't come with them stock.
2. The short answer is no High beam bulbs and low beam bulbs are different sizes.
3. I'd suggest you look up how lights work i.e. how the housings reflect light along with watts and lumens.

3jz-- no, don't do that. HID's need to heat up to operating temperature before they are fully bright-- takes about 10-20 seconds for most setups. You want that for your regular low beam headlights that stay on constantly.
You don't want that for instant-on highbeams you may need to use for a second or more just to flash at someone in an emergency or when prompting them to move to the right lane for passing.
Try using a different color bulb to better match the color temperature of your HID's but you should still be using the factory high beam bulb type and circuitry.

If you are really serious......
When I had aftermarket headlights, a mechanic I went to accidentally put a high beam bulbs in the low on my car and when I noticed the label on my seat, I stopped (5 min later) to change it. It was a zillion degrees. It would have surely burnt something.
Please don't start experimenting with electrical until you fully understand it (and I don't).
You will also potentially cause an accident. Imagine driving towards you. Non stock HID's already have enough unruly light.

They are not interchangeable. Different sizes. One is 9005 and the other 9006. Totally different in the way they are made. I also agree that the 55watt HID are much brighter.
