Default HID conversion kit installation procedure.

Are there any specific steps I should follow first in order to properly install them. In other words, what do you recommend to do first, (of course, disconnect the battery!) so the installation goes as planned. Any precautions I should keep in mind when installing this kit?

One thing for sure, do not touch any of the bulbs.

I've installed many kits on different cars. They all were pretty easy. If you can change a regular halogen bulb, you'll have no problem plugging the hid kit up. I hope someone post a install thread for ya since I haven't done my own Lexus yet.

No need to disconnect the battery, but as an extra safety pre-caution, it wouldn't hurt. As what ybbob said above me, just make sure you don't touch the bulbs with your bare fingers as the oil on your fingers will cause hot spots on the glass and prematurely wear out the bulb.

Thanks a lot, I was just a bit concern about what to plug in first, second, etc...Also where to put the ballasts, I heard they can cause problems if they are near other electrical parts.

Wear nitrile gloves when installing.
don't touch bulbs.
use dielectric grease on the connectors.

If you have a relay(I recommend one) install that first. Then test to see if everything works. You don't wanna have everything tucked and have it not work.

Best to keep ballast as far away from the ECU as possible.
