Dome light replacements (interior lights)
Hi all.
Want to replace dome lights on my SC. I did a search but i still can't figure out what size bulbs I should get. It looks like there are 3 bulbs inside the overhead lamp in our SC. Wish to change them all to white bulbs.
Any suggestions as far as which brand bulbs to use??
Thank you!!

I figured out how to change two of the bulbs, but the third is a round bulb and I don't think they make superwhites in that size.

If you turn on the dome light, look at the edge of the cover where it meets the plastic. You will see little tabs. Stick a flat head screwdriver in there and pop it out.

Cheapest overhead light upgrade ever! (Still not white, though)
Whiter overhead lights would be nice, but I just wanted them brighter for minimal expense.
Garbage day in LA is a great day to go hunting for roadkill parts, since you have to put your garbage containers out on the street, and speeding drivers sometimes smack their side-view mirrors against them, with the side-view mirrors sometimes flying right off! I found a Mercedes side view mirror that had a nice light inside of it and wired it up into my existing overhead assembly and placed some tin foil above the bulb to reflect more of the light.
It took about 5 minutes.
The flash of my camera wiped out the outline of the bulb, but it's there, just to the right of the black socket assembly.
It's not white but it sure is brighter.
Any small automotive bulb should work- go hunting on your next garbage day!

I just replaced my trunk light, dome lights, door lights, and glove box light with LED's. SUPER BRIGHT and looks great! I will get some pics up tonight. Could not have been a more simple process.
