Default Nokya Hyper Yellow Fogs

Noyka yellow bulbs have been the yellowist bulb I could find and I loved them. Had them on my car for two years with no problems. One of them just blew out so I reordered them and found out the packaging has changed, no problem. Installed one and found out they dont match the old Noyka's. The new ones are lighter in color and look more like 3000k instead of the stated 2500k. I changed both sides to the new bulbs to match but am very disappointed. Anyone else notice this? Maybe got a bad batch? The color of these new bulbs are not as yellow and not as intense. It even seems like they don't go as far either, sitting inside the car, I can barely make them out whereas the old bulbs were significantly more yellow and brighter. Any ideas or opinions?

Same thing happened to me.

My ordered my previous one back in 2008, and they shipped in a hard plastic case. And one of them burnt 2 weeks ago, I ordered the same one (model number NOK7610) but the package changed to a soft case (like the safeway bakery soft box) .

The front shows 55W instead of 70W, the bulb surface color is more lighter than pervious one.

I plug it in and turn it on, the light is more disappointing, it lost the gold ,deep, dark color and look like a oem bulb.

I thought i got a bad batch and ordered one more set but still look the same.

I think i need to find another brand to get back the same quality of light.

Try Putco Jet Yellow Halogen Bulbs. They're super yellow and there have been plenty of happy people with them. There is a thread about it on here and they posted a link to where you can buy them.

I ran a set of these bulbs a while back, one burned out and went with yellow projectors instead. Haven't tried any of their new bulbs but maybe they require a "burn in" time to cure the coating?
