Question Parking & Fog Lights Swap

Hello All. This is my first post, so play nice!!

Anyways, I got a 99 RX, and got tired of the ugly yellow halogens up front, so decided to go with some Razo's Premium white Zero's for the lows/highs, and the swap was straightforward

Also got the proper bulbs for the parking lights and Foglights (fogs same as lows right?), but have got no clue how to change them.

Help please!! Someone in here must have changed their parking and foglights before! Would I have to take the whole headlight housing case out? Reach them from underneath??

Thanx Guys!

Btw, the name's Xuan-Thy...and that's pronounced "SwanSee"
Just take my word for it
-x-

look around and you'll find more then enuff information on how to change out those lights.

quick explaination tho...

Fog lights were too hard for me. On the passengerside it was easy but on the driver side i just couldn't pull out the bulb due to some long screw/bolt thingy in the way. So i just brought it to dealer when i did my 15k check up and ask can they just help em swap out my old ones for my new yellows and they did.

for the parking lights, pull out fender behind wheel well and reach your hand in until you find the bulb. thats it.

good luck

Oooh believe me, I looked around alright! I spent about 3 hours last night reading through all of the relevant "lights" related posts. Makes me thing I should have gone with true HID, but.......nahhh.....just don't have the cash for that at the moment.

Anyways, so foggies through dealer and parking lights through the wheel whell (sp?) ?
That's the concensus?

I was able to replace the foglights via the fender wheel well as well as the parking lights. It's tricky - but you can get to them.

On the passenger side, you may also want to move the washer fluid filler tube...

Ok, you guys are gonna have to bear with me ...and my ignorance!!....but how do you remove the fender wheel well?? just take out the couple of screws in there?....
And as for the washer fluid tube...it's just connected at the top...and then it can be pulled right out?

ya, you can just pry open the fender wheel well and you'll have enough room to get your hand in there. its going to be dirty but ya. for the washer fluid tube, just unscrew the top and pull it out, that part your pulling out is the extension

I removed about 4 or 5 10mm screws and some 2-3 regular phillips screws in order to loosen up the wheel well fender piece sufficiently to get in there. You'll see them. You need to turn your wheel inward to get to most of them.

Anyone in here changed their own Foggies??

If I go to the dealer to have them swap out my stock fogs for a set of Razos....are they gonna hassle me at all, in terms of warranty and what have you??

The factory wiring for the fog lamps will not "support" a bulb set of much higher wattage than the combined 110 watts of the standard bulbs. I just wired in a relay to energize the Fog lamps as DRLs instead of operating the HB bulbs at a low voltage and the factory fog lamp wiring looked a little "flimsy" to me even for supporting 110 watts (9 amps).
