removal of overhead dome light
how do you remove the overhead dome light assembly thats above the rear seats. (the light in the middle of the RX) i already did a search for it and only the front one comes up. but even that one said to remove the plastic lense and then unscrew a nut. but i cant remove the clear lense. any help or tips.

To remove the dome cover in the middle or back seat, all you need is a flat screw driver and pry it open. There are tabs on four corners, so pry it on one of four corners.
Why are you taking off the dome light? Superbright lights or is it a TV there?

I am waiting for my super whites so I can change the rear and back dome lights.
Do you guys know where to get some whites for the vanity and the glove box lights? I can't seem to find any.
Thanks.

You can also remove the front dome light by using a flat head driver. Look carefully for the tab, then stick the driver between the dome len and the plastic frame. Then just slowly pry it out. I just did mine today.

I also replace the center and rear dome lights with hyper white. It looks good, giving it a fluorescent look. I bouft my bulbs from a local car accessory shop. I did the same with the rear license plate bulbs.

You can also use bulb #168 for the doors. I have already changed the doors, center dome, and rear dome. I am still looking for cool blues for the front dome and vanity lights
