Yellow Foggies
I just removed the factory foggies and popped in some PIAA Ion yellows and its very very nice! Goes well with the HIDS. I posted pics in the Picture Gallery due to size of photo... dunno whats going on but ya, they are in there.
BTW, i also put on the JAOS rear bar and front skid plate, but i cant post the pics due to size. I'll figure a way soon and see if i can post. so far only the yellow foggies in the pic gallery

very nice
the yellow fogs do look good and probably helps oncoming drivers a visible recognition that the lights below the lamps are fogs and not high beams.
would you please step thru the procedure like how hard it was and such and post the part number for the PIAAs, I'm considering replacing the fogs, too.
Nice work!

Those look great, spin.
satxrx, fogs are easy...really easy, unless you've got big
hands (like me). I could barely get my fingers in position to
remove and replace the bulbs. I even dropped the driver's
side OEM bulb onto the plastic shroud under the car. Had to
get it out with a stick. There's just so little room to maneuver.
The key is to unsnap the wiring harness before removing the
existing bulb. Just push on the side of the bulb. It will click open.
Just wiggle the connector and the harness will come free. Rotate
the bulb and pull it out.
Fogs-9006 Lowbeam-9006 Highbeam-9005
If concerned about how to change bulbs, you can practice with
your highbeams. Same technique, but no real obstructions like
the fogs. Then try your low beams, there are some obstructions,
particularly on the passenger side. I had to remove the bolt that
holds the windshield washer fill tube, so my hand could fit. But that was no real problem.
It looks like a lot of repairs on the RX are easier if you have small hands.
edit: Dang, those bulbs are not too cheap, eh spin?

That looks pretty cool Mike! Can't wait to see pics of your Jaos bar and skid plate...your RX is coming along nicely with the mods. I'm VERY slow with mine. I'm thinking Manik side steps sometime this summer. Have you found any good places to buy them? I'm going to check locally at a custom 'truck specialties' shop first.

Thanks, P.W.
Appreciate the response to my query. And, man, you're right about the price of the PIAAs. Must be made of gold, huh?
If anybody can find it for a bit less, please post. Meanwhile, I'll do some checking of my own.
Thanks again!

Thanks guys, i love those yellow foggies, and they look great. Once i figure how to pop up those jaos bar pics, i'll put them up.
Paddy, those are the same PIAA ion yellows i got but for MUCH cheaper!! i met this guy on ebay and he was able to get it to me for 70 shipped!!! I think it was 70 or 80. He was from Japan but he hooked it up. I still have his email and i can check if he has any more, or give you guys his email addy. i'm at work right now so no email addy i can post now.
Install was a bish... The passengerside was VERY easy. But the driver side, i could not get out at all. I was able to turn the bulb but not enuff for it to come off. So it took me forever and i gave up. There was no way i was going to be able to pop it off. There seem to be like a long Bolt blocking the way also. So what i did was when i did my 15k check up, i asked them to finish off the driver side for me and they did
they wrote it down as burnt out filiment so it was done under warrenty.
Nick, you should check out sunny75.com that place maniks are 309 and with shipping comes to around 330. Cheapest i found online. I'm gonna order it soon unless i can find a local shop here for under 400 installed, then i'll do it locally.
