some of these were easy peasy lemon squeezey installs just swap 'em out.....others like the footwell lights and the lighter required some soldering. the center console one required soldering and some modification of the mounting assembly. it was rather easy to do and i think everything came out looking great.

did the LEDs for the inside door handles today.

original housing with the cover off. check out the size difference between the original amber LED and the white one i soldered in.

it was light out but i snapped pics anyway, here is the drivers side light

Good ides and spots. The picture quality is bad would be nicer to actually see them mounted or displayed instead of just a black pic with a white glow in it

my kids were messing around with my canon g9 and totally messed the settings up. i have to try to remember what i had everything set at and retake all the pics.

or better yet i'll do it with my moto droid phone which actually takes pretty good pics considering it is only 5 megapixels less than half of what the canon is capable of. (i think the g9 is 12 megapixels)

Try a indoor / party setting. My buddys HD 2 or whatever that new HTC phone os takes good pics and its a 5MP too

i just lowered the ISO from 800 to 80 and took some test shots in a dark room. definitely looks 100X better. will try to snap some pics later on tonight and post them.

Looks very nice. I've been wanting to change out all my bulbs to LEDs but I'm just too busy and lazy to find all the right sizes and types to swap them all out.

sleeper, it can be a pain figuring out which bulbs you need but it is worth doing......take a wild guess what my name on here is an acronym for. LaZy MotherF'er #1.

Is it hard to change those bulbs to LED? I was trying to figure out how to drop the dome to get to the bulbs. Please advise.

if you can solder you can do it no prob. the dome is held up by velcro and compression clips. use your fingertips or a flathead screwdriver to pry the assembly off. the spot to pry isn't shown in my pic it is the area of the assembly closest to the rearview mirror. another way to do it is to open the (useless) sunglass storage compartment and pull down on it. you will have to diconnect the wires for the lights and garage door opener module. the garage door opener module is held in by a metal bracket. you're basically going to remove the screws, bracket, and module to gain access to the plastic assembly that holds the lights. remove the original amber ones and solder in the new ones you got. then reverse the process to put it all back in. it's tedious work but i'm sure you noticed from my pics that it is worth doing.


forgot to mention: the piece of plastic that holds the lights in place literally pops right out. once again use a flathead screwdriver to pop it out

i added LED lights to the cupholders. i did it just for the fun of it after i saw pics of somebody's mod on another forum. was rather easy to do............the whole catch is i'm not sure if i like them.

look closely and you'll see them!

Try this site out. All of the bulbs for the vehicle are listed. Lexus cars are on the right side. Just select the vehicle and a list of bulbs will appear. I hope this helps.
