Headlight Adjustment
Does anyone know how to adjust the headlights on the halogen equipped RX? I looked under the hood for some sort of screw or something to twist, but didn't find anything.
Also, while I was under the hood today I noticed a factory strut tower brace was on there. I haven't ever noticed it before, i thought that was pretty cool.
My RX is now polished and awaiting xenons from SupremePowerParts.

I figured it out, I unscrewed the headlights and mounted them with duct tape and string. I just loosen and tighten the string to vary the beam height. The fit and finish isn't what is was before, but they are adjustable from inside the cabin.

Why, no, it was my only solution
I was just seeing if anyone was with me in here I would never do that to my baby - I'd use high quality rope, not string

There is an adjustment and you can find it when you open the hood. Behind the headlight asembly on the upper part, you will see a "wheel" the size of a quarter. The wheel is notched and has a dot mark on its face as guide. It has an aluminum color, kinda silver grayish. Turn it counterclockwise to lower the aim, and vice versa.

Is this what you are talking about (pic below)? I checked a couple of days ago and saw that - that's the only thing I thought that it could be. So, I aimed my lights on a wall at night and tried to twist it with my hand. I didn't get very far with that b/c I was too lazy to get the proper tool. I was waiting until my HID's arrive to find out for sure...but now I know
Thanks for the info - it'll be a great help

I ordered the 4300K Phillips kit from SupremePowerParts.com. It should be here any day now. As a matter of fact, I'm expecting it tomorrow.
I went in on a group buy from AcuraMDX.org. I even told the guy from SPP that I was putting them on an RX - he didn't care, probably still making a good profit.
I can't wait to put them in!!!

If you don't mind, how much out the door?
Don't forget to update us after you've installed it
Even if my RX has the "wannabe", still HID is the way to go.

Pics for sure - i'll compare before and after
The group buy price was $499 which includes shipping - no tax. They had cheaper prices, but for off-branded HID's. I went with the Phillips. They originally price them at $540. I almost went with autolamps-online but the only reason I didn't was SPP had a better 5 year warranty. Autolamps offers the same kit for $499 at regular price. I thing autolamps is a great company but they are in the U.K. and didn't have the warranty.
