you do notice a difference when the vehicle is OFF not running and the HIDs turn on (auto sensing). "sometimes" it flickers/not turn on at all. with the wiring harness they power-up with no issues at all and when you crank the car to start it the light do not dim/cut off then back on when the cars running which is BAD for your hid's ballast.
I ordered a harness just in case I need it.

I've finally got my 6000k HID's installed. They look awesome and work just fine. I am definitely impressed with the kit. I ordered a wiring harness last night just in case I may need it.

Overall, I'm impressed with HIDextra. The shipping was super fast and the directions on the their site are great. It was definitely a good experience and I do plan to order more kits for my other cars later on.

My brother bought a set to replace his v-HID kit. Worked well and great customer service again. Also I just noticed that my 3000k bulbs I got from HIDextra a while back had a blue-ish tint on it, which I thought was kind of odd for a 3000k bulb.

My new 6k bulbs i ordered to upgrade my 5k from seem to be flickering every once in a blue moon. they just replaced one (1) of my old 5k bulbs that was still under warranty and those work fine 100% so i'm keeping those as a spare but for some reason when I switch to the new 6k bulbs they flicker when they feel like it. the new 3k bulbs I ordered for my fogs the bulbs did the same thing and is awaiting a replacement set. gonna wait till my other bulbs come in and see if they still flicker and contact Karen again about the flickering bulbs. this batch of bulbs i'm receiving seems to not work in my favor. I purchased about 4 kits from them already in the past and this is the first time this happened :\ so I still trust their product and thankful for their warranty.

lately i've been having problems with my pass side fog hid. they will both fire up and sometimes it will take only a few minutes and sometimes it's will be like 30 minutes but it goes out. i turn the switch off and turn it back on then it's fine again for a few minutes. could this be a bad ballast? i wasn't the one that installed your kit so i'm not 100% sure how they wired they up. i know it wasn't all plug-n-play.

you can swap the bulb to the other side to see if the problem follow the bulb or ballast. email me the result at info@hidextra.com and I'll get you the replacement parts~

Default Is there a difference between kits for projector and reflector headlight

I am looking for an HID kit for a SC400 with projector. The bulb is 9006. I can see 9006 HID kits but I can't find if the kit is specific for projector or reflector.
Are there any differentiation between them?

Just got my replacement 3k bulb installed in my fogs since the old one crapped out and the color is a bit off but imma give it a few hours incase it color shifts. ill try to snap a picture tonight to show the difference. looks a little more towards 5k inside the yellow capsule fogs (slight green tint). the original bulb i got with the kit is a pure golden yellow color.

pics as promised. day time shot.

9006 for low beam, 9005 for highbeam, 9006 for foglight.
