Fog lights...Where do you aim them?
As the title of the thread says...Where do you aim your fog lights? I was going to install some hid's in my fog lights and was wondering where I should aim the fog light patch. I think I am going for the flood style So I would have an arc of light in front of me.

more towards the ground illuminating as little 'air' in front of you as possible. Fog lights are designed to be low so during 'foggy' conditions light doesn't get reflected off of the tiny water particles making you pretty much blinded from seeing the ground.

aiming fog lights
Fogs have had a sharp cutoff even before that was an aspect of headlights. They are narrow and wide. I have always measured the physical height of the light and then set them to have the same height exactly on the wall a short distance away. Aimed like this they shine straight out and under the fog and go a long distance. They are not in the opposing traffic's eyes because they don't rise. Hit a bump or crest a hill and they shine in the other guys eyes just like your low beams do, sharp cutoff or not.
