HID KIT Installation in Vancouver, BC anyone?
OK after many searches, I'm finally convinced to do HID conversion. Only problem is I'm afraid to do it myself because I never done this before. Anyone in the Vancouver location know where to buy a KIT and Install?

Plug an play. Easy, but you have to find a place to put your Ballast. I use double side foam tape and zip locks. I installed into 4 cars now including my GS4 fog lights.
There are 2 types of HID I did before.
First is direct connection. Just unplug your light bulb from the connector then just adding an extention(Ballast with wire each way) in between and replace to the HID bulb with regular. (I believe the factory is like this, as per my Acura TL, I didnt open my GS4 yet)
Second is Ballasts connect to the battery and uses battery power directly. (They said is the best one) IMO, I dont like this, because you have to pull a long wire between headlights and lots of wires around the battery. This one use ONE of your side light source from either passenger/driver side as a switch. When you turn on your light switch, it turn on the headlight.
Good luck

I bought my HID conversion kit from our CL vendor - XenonDepot. Their business is located in Ontario. Excellent customer service and the kit was very easy to install.
I live in the lower mainland too.

Go with an authorized CL vendor if you buying online...and installing yourself.
Buying local with installation seems less headache for you...esp if you don't tackle this job. Location of the ballast is key....I took my front bumper off and installed it under the headlights....so you can't see it in the engine bay.
