Very cool. Jeff does good work, so hopefully I can follow these instructions. Are there any other ones out there? I still haven't decided what projector to use. I got a set of OEM HID lights ready to go just for this project.

Does anybody have instructions on how to remove the bumper on the GS, or how to remove the headlights without removing the bumper?

Also, how do I rewire my headlights to work with an HID assembly. I currently have the NON HID headlights on my car. Thanks!

You bought HID housings? The reflectors will go to waste since you're going to cut them to fit a projector. Maybe you can use your halogen ones to cut?

Dumb question, but is there really a huge difference?

Its depend on how much you want to pay? i installed my friend's IS 250 the Extreme like this a link below, but i believed the promotion just expired.

http://sr1.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264551

Or you can to buy the OEM ballast and look for the new bulbs. Thats what i did on my car. you are looking for around 220-300.
Good luck

Thanks for the link. I am actually not looking for a plug and play HID kit. I bought an extra set of housings and ballasts. I need to know how to rewire my non HID car, so that I can use these new HID headlights?

It's not hard to remove the bumper. I did it numerous times when i was working on my turbo.

There are 2 10mm screws on each side that are accessible through the wheel well. Unscrew the fogs, disconnect the bulbs. Then you have 2 screws near the headlights on each side and your almost done. Go underneath and pop off all the plastic bolts holding the cover underneath. I believe that was it. I'm going off of memory here.

Its not that hard takes about 15-20 mins tops. You do need a long ratchet extension though.

I also did the NON-HID to HID conversion, but I used heavy duty harness wires with relays to power the ballast. If you know basic wiring it should be a piece of cake.
