98-05 Gs Hid Yellow Fogs? Help..legit?
to all you 98-05 GS guys out there...i need a little help. i have the stock clear fogs in my gs right now..i found these on ebay:

now first of all im just curious as to whether or not this is legit...did they make REAL HID clear housing fog lights for that year with YELLOW REAL HID..or is this guy trying to lie and hes thrown some autozone yellow bulbs in a clear housing?! second, like i said i have a gs with the stock clear fogs, its a 1998...im wondering, if these are legit and they are true HID fogs, do i need to change all the wiring from my current stock fogs or since these are factory for some gs's can i just plug them into my stock/current wiring harnesses?
this would be a big help, any info you have because id like to get them..it sucks driving in NY in the fog and rain and id much rather have the yellow hid if these are real... lemme know, thanks! heres a pic of what hes selling:

im still lookin around and startin to think this guy is scammin and theyre just yellow bulbs..i know some of the gs's came with clear housings/yellow lights but i never heard of it being hid...he just emailed me and told me they plug right into my stock harnesses...doesnt sound right, dont all hid's need some type of ballast to operate from..i know my hids in my low beams do.

they guy finally came clean and said they were just 9006 bulbs..so if anyone was bothering to find out, thanks anyway..i hate idiots like this on ebay, he seriously has like ten listings on there and it says these things are "HID" in the title, all over the auction page, everywhere heres what he said to me when he finally emailed me back and what i said back:

i want to buy these lights from you. but i need to know just a few things.
for one, i have a 1998 gs400. will these fit directly into the spot where
my plain clear stock fog lights are now? are these new yellow ones designed
to plug directly into the wire harnesses from my stock fogs? are they
really HID or just bright yellow lights...i have hid headlights not the
fake white bulbs in my headlights, so i know the difference...please let me
know.

ok, so why do you go through the trouble of mentioning that these are "HID"
like ten different times in your auction. 9006 does not equal HID, 9006=9006.
if you dont stop lying to people and take that out and tell the truth that they are just 9006, im going to inform ebay that youre trying to scam people that dont know any better,
sellers like you really bother me. you seriously said they were HID like TEN
different times on that auction page, even right in the title. keep ebay
clean man dont be lying to everyone so they leave you bad feedback and end
up with a product they dont want.
i left the names out so i dont get yelled at for posting the emails, and obviously i wanted you to hear my end so i cant get in trouble for that either...im mainly just posting this all up here so none of my clublex buddies get scammed for more than a few hundred dollars like i almost did.
