Video from AACStyle demonstrating the correct way to disassemble and reassemble IS300 headlights. He says this actually applies to just about every Lexus and also shows the proper way to custom paint and install halos.

Thanks, only the drivers side fog lamp turns on but the passenger side doesnt turn on. Im guessing this is because of the chiped lamp face and water getting in there.
Anyone have a DIY to fix the chipped face of the fog?

OK, hopefully somebody reads this: I have a 2006 GS 430 and had first the right front headlight (low beam)go out, and replaced it for crazy money. Lex folks told me that there was a computer associated with the light complex and that had to be replaced also. Is this true?
Also, the driver left side light (it is low beam also) is starting to fritz out. When I turn the lights off and back on again the low beam comes back.
Any help, any answers?
Thanks, all.

If the low beam goes out, you first want to attempt to replace the bulb, not the whole headlight. Even if the ballast (HID computer controller) was faulty they are very cheap on eBay and other sources.
Now that your other side is acting up, I would suggest you check out the bulb first, and then make a decision, because just letting the dealer do what it wants will hurt your pocket book quite severely.

Hey Lex Fam,
I have a 1992 SC400. The regular night time driving lights work however the the other set in front don't work. Maybe it's my error or something else. I checked the blubs which seemto be fine.
Help!
In the dark.

LS 400 Highbeams won't work????
Problem: LS 400 High beams won't work
Background: 1999 LS 400 with 270,000+ miles. Engine check light has been on constantly for 20K+ miles. Reading is for transmission error. Lexus has dropped, disassembled, and checked transmission and light error returns. Car shifts smoothly. Not going down that route again for $$$$$.
Current: Low beans work fine, will auto switch on as expected. Went to lexus parts, got replacement bulbs for high beams, removed old bulbs, the old bulbs looked fine. Added in new bulbs, they didn't work. Conclusion: the bulbs (old and new are ok) are not the problem.
Went to local mechanic. Said he is getting a "Hot" reading on both the hot and cold wiring leading in, but electrical is not his "thing". He charged me nothing (at least he was honest about his skill).
When switching the high beams on manually, the blue dash indicator light goes on, but no high beam. When pulling the tree stem backwards to "flash" the high beam, the dash light will go on, but no high beams.
Open to suggestions -
Thanks

I've got a 92 ls400 that uses 9004 bulbs and looking to convert to HID bulbs. I saw something about cutoff what's that. Also I saw the site HID nation and conversion is 40 bucks is that a good price.
