Fog lights 55w = ***w of output?
I have a newbie question about all these lights.
I have a SC and i'm trying to get some H3's, but I see this rating: 55w = 100w or 135w of light output. <<The question i have= is the 110w or 135w is in actual light, not power, right?
So it won't melt my wires by running some PIAA Xtreme Whites 55w = 110w, 4150k.. I'm assuming the 110w is just light output not actually drawing 110w of electricity. It's kind of confusing when they are measuring electricity and light output in the same units(Watts). <<Am i right? or completely wrong?

I figured that but i thought i'd double check before i ordered....
It was just confusing being on the same units-(Power vs. Light output) both measured in Watts.
Thanks again,

The wattage equivelancy rating was something I've always found a bit sketchy about PIAA...why not just clearly state output in lumens like Philips, Osram/Sylvania, and GE? I know, there's some measure that takes account both lumens and color temp to measure the useability of light, but I'm doubting it's measured in watts...
