I have to agree this is the best write-up on the car I have read and is 100% correct. Saved me the bother of writing the same thing. I too moved from a Mclaren 12C (a spider) and have no regrets. This is a spectacular drivers car. Those who haven't spent time driving an LFA have no idea what they are missing.. This car will be a keeper...

Cool. So we have two McLaren MP4-12C -> LFA converts.

That I can say I have no regrets and do not miss my MP4-12C is perhaps the highest compliment I can pay the LFA. As a road-going supercar, the 12C is extremely good. So good, in fact, that I feel the 650S was a step backwards (but that's a story for another day). I can now say, however, that the LFA is - for me - even better than the MP4 as a road car. It retains 95% of the McLaren's daily driver usability, yet is even more rewarding to drive with intent. In fact, if you can imagine it, I would liken the LFA to a mix of the 12C and the 430 Scuderia (probably my favourite Ferrari to drive) - but take both the refinement and engagement levels even higher. It's so focused and well-executed.

Awesome insight. Please keep updating this thread as you gain more and more experience with your LFA.
