Default Cool bit of trivia



This popped up on Reddit.com/r/cars today, and I had to post about it.

Maybe I'm the only one here that didn't know about the placement of the washer fluid neck? But I love the attention to detail.

Yeah, remember hearing about it in "Top Gear". The reservoir was placed in the back as part of the effort to achieve a rear biased weight distribution.

My classic '83 Porsche 911sc has the same thing with washer filler right next to the fuel cap.

The windshield wiper fluid reservoir is actually just below the fill cap, in the area above the intake. It might be visible from pics/video of in-progress LFAs on the Motomachi production line (which is where I saw it).
