LFA in VA Dealership
Like a few others I've seen post on here, I was fortunate enough to see this beauty at my local Lexus dealer when I went to test-drive/purchase my IS F back in January of this year. I actually hadn't even seen it when I walked in bc it was under a cover. It was in conversation with my sales guy that I asked if by chance they had been fortunate enough to have ever had one. I was surprised when he said they not only had one on their showroom floor but it was the second in their possession; they had just sold one a few months earlier. Of course I told him that I HAD to see if before I left to which he grabbed his GM to ask if they wouldn't mind letting me take a look. His knowledge of the vehicle in general and care they took of storing this particular one was nothing short of spectacular. He could tell while walking me around the vehicle how infatuated and impressed I was so he added "a cherry on top" by starting it up and giving it a few quick revs. Having never seen one in person and being able to be that close would have been enough for me to leave with a smile on my face but when he started it up and rev'd it I not only left with a smile on my face but went to sleep with one - lol. They are truly AMAZING machines and to experience one in person is, IMO, the only way to truly appreciate them for all that they are. I posted an album/pics in the Photo's section of this site but have included a few below.

Forgot to mention that while giving me the "tour" of the vehicle they handed me the hood prop, which as you probably know is yet another piece made completely of CF and I was blown away at how light it was. I know, sounds crazy to say bc we all know how light CF is supposed to be but again, until you've had a chance to see/experience it on your own sometimes you just don't "get it". It was lighter than a pencil.

Thanks for the write up. Glad to hear you enjoyed the experience of the walk through. I wish I could get one like that as well. I would be acting all foolish as well. It is also great you had a sales person who was very knowledgeable about the car .

lol @GS3Tek, thanks...it was honestly the best most descriptive way I could think to describe it - haha
@spinout180 - thanks for the link and my apologies to all for the repost. It's funny bc I'm sure at one point the GM told me what # it was but it was the one thing I couldn't remember last night when I was writing this so I'm glad to see someone else took some better notes :-)
I'll see if I can post & share the video that I took of the startup for anyone who might be interested. It was a short clip and not the greatest of videos by far but it does a quick/decent job of capturing the AMAZING sound of that insanely tuned exhaust.
