Saw the review of the LFA by clarkson, still compares it to the GTR! What about Ferrari McLaren and Lamborghini charging 300-400K for their cars that're no faster than the GTR? I get it, because it's from Japan, or made by Toyota he figures the GTR is it's measuring stick.

I think you are overreacting. Clarkson gave luscious praises for the LFA. More than anyone could have expected from him as he now concurrs with what the majority of other professionals say. Good enough for me (though, it remains to be seen how the christmas special turns out to be when drives it for 3000 miles and how he reverberates this to a global audience).
Just because he opined "GTR is 9/10th as good as the LFA and 5 times cheaper", does not discredit how exceptionally fair he became to the LFA and picking it as his most favorite car.
By the same token, Hammond asked Clarkson "do you really think LFA is 5 times better than the Nissan GTR??" and Clarkson said "yes it is".

Maybe you don't get it. I think you don't need to be opinionated on someone's own opinion. You'll never hear him say the GTR is 9/10 as good as the Aventador for even less compared to the LFA, or the 599. It's the same talking point on the LFA's relative price that's been regurgitated on every forum. If it's 5 times as good and more than 5 times as rare, why even mention the GTR? It's a stupid dig at Toyota/Lexus, you of all people here should see that.
