Are these people insane??

People trying to flip the car for ridiculous amount of money is truly hurting the brand. I now can understand why Lexus wanted to keep the title for the first 2 years.

i somewhat disagree. flipping the cars can be "good" for the brand, in terms of driving up the hypes and exclusivity of the cars. just look at pretty much every ferrari and lamborghini when they first available. of course it doesn't sound "fair" to us, but to those who have the money to spend, it's probably ok. of course, the problem is how supply and demand meet, that's where the lfa is at a awkward position now

of course, as expected, that usually dies down shortly after the release and prices become more "normal"

this is not much different from any mass production cars (lexus or other brands), always sold at msrp when first released, and dealerships put on chrome wheels or pin stripes and add another 5-600 bucks on top.
