I inquired about the damage and what they wanted for it over the week end.

The car has already been sold.

I didn't receive any details.

Good to hear. Even a damaged LFA gets sold so quickly.

Ofcourse, the buyer must have gotten the car for a bargain price.

Yeah, I have that type of connection with the LFA.

Well, the good news is after its fixed, it won't be worth $375k anymore....it will be worth $374,999.99. Come to think of it, since this is the second LFA crashed (1st being Toyota's Test Driver), it might actually be worth more than a new one!?!

As I stated before in response to someone else, this is the first LFA crash.

Hiromu Naruse's crash does not count since it was a pre-production test prototype.

Well, we don't know the circumstances of the accident. It may not have been the LFA driver's fault at all. As I mentioned in the other thread, accidents are simply the implicit risk of driving a car. As long as the car is driven, there will be accidents. Even a careful driver cannot account for others.

For example, the first known GT3 RS 4.0 crash was allegedly/reportedly caused by a drunk driver drifting into its path. It's just impossible to account for all the possibilities.

Well, at least it looks like it's in good hands, as far as what cars are in the background.

Wow that sucks... but who owned this car? Did the sales guy get proper permission from the owner to take it out for a spin?

Doubt it.... Dealer sells it to shop/buyer in Sun Valley, CA...

Shop in Sun Valley has already re-sold it...

Whether or not it has been fixed, has yet to be revealed..

I'm sure someone can carfax the vin... So far it shows "Your vehicle has 3 history records"
