Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours
Test was conducted in freezing 0 C temperatures with high moisture atmosphere
Lap time - 1:20.64

Believe it or not, the test was conducted in moist, 0 C conditions (freezing temperatures).
Still LFA set a record in the lap time. Though LFA's are not dry high-grip tires, but in extreme conditions like this (or wet conditions in TopGear), they really show how well rounded they are.

Something the mags will never pick up on; looks like the LFA's tires were not designed just to make some "marketing" laps around the Nurburgring in dry conditions.
Looks like the LFA's tires were designed for all-around real world high performance in a variety conditions, be it dry, wet, or even near-freezing.
Some of the other cars the LFA is compared to, while their stock tires may possess slightly better dry performance, I will bet those cars will perform much worse in wet or near-freezing conditions.

You know what, they also published the data for '12 GTR as well.
While LFA's test was conducted in freezing temperatures resulting in 4'4" 0 - 100 km/h, GTR's test was conducted in optimum condition.
LFA's 100 - 260 km/h times were A LOT faster than the GTR. I am sure if LFA were wearing high grip tires for dry, no way would GTR be able to hang with the LFA.
GTR:
0 - 100 km/h: 3'3"
0 - 1000 meters: 20.8@254 km/h
You can see at 1000 meters, LFA is 6 km/h quicker and also despite a poor 4'4" 0 - 100 km/h, LFA hits 260 km/h quicker than the GTR.

Lexus LFA's record still stands.
2012 Nissan GTR did the Circuit De Nevers in 1:21.55, which is still over a second slower than the Lexus LFAs.
