I tend to believe it isn't product placement by Lexus, or they would have demanded a much bigger role for the LFA in the movie ...

So far, I think these are the three options:

1 - TopGear USA

2 - The Car Show (Adam Carolla's new program on Speed)

3 - Battle of the supercars (Producers want to bring it back after LFA smahed the R8 V10).

I think the most likely one is 'TopGear USA', but personally I would like to see it in the Adam Carolla program since Adam is just so friggin hilarious.

Mind you they filmed this before the first LFAs were delivered in January. So it would have been impossible to have production LFAs for use in FF5. Also availability kept the Pearl Yellow from being filmed at the time.

The biggest budget in the world, runs out eventually.

Or maybe they decided it is not worth the money to wrapped the LFA.....who knows..........all just guesses.

You don't remember what all those guys said about the LFA when they were driving it?

Something along the line of ---> "This car feels and sounds amazing and is $400k, but it is still just a Lexus, a Toyota, a Japanese car..........so it is boring"

They only like exotic European brands.......just the way it is.

That was knocking the present "brand image" and not the car. Hamster said "at the end of the day, it is a Lexus". He never associated LFA with "boring" at any point.

They have an elitist mentality, anything that is not from an exotic brand, is boring to them

somewhat? boy you are kind

They are millionaires that get pay to talk smack about cars, any human in their position, would be as shallow as them about cars I don't blame them.

They never said it was boring. Hammond actually seems to be quite the fan.

That's why I like the STIG's comments, he's the only thing that I watched the damn show for. F- Top Gear. I never liked their witty remarks, or their crude language towards anything non-european. Their jerks to me, lame overpaid fat asses who don't appreciate what they get to do. If I got paid to drive cars I would have a blast. The only thing I would do is comment on what the performance is compared to others, or how it felt. They aren't enthusiasts. Far from it, and I'd prefer the LFA go somewhere it's appreciated, not looked down on because it came from Japan.

Can you please tell us about so that we can keep an eye out for it and not end up missing it??

Is it one the three I listed above?? You said "soon" so it can't be "TopGear USA" since the season 2 does not premiere till fall of 2011. Will it be a single test or a comparo/battle??
