CL EXCLUSIVE: LFA# 047 & #057 Arrive in the USA. Gengar's LFA is here!!!
Its no surprise that the super car Lexus LFA has been arriving to the United States since the beginning of this year. For one of our lucky members, the long wait has ended. We’ve always wondered who would be the first Club Lexus member to take delivery of the LFA. Well that day has come. I’m proud to announce that LFA #047 has finally been de-vanned and has arrived safely on U.S. soil. LFA #047 has already made its way through port processing here in Southern California and has been transported to its destination in the Midwest. Delivery is scheduled this week to our very own member “gengar” who is anxiously awaiting for the weather to cooperate.
Just recently gengar attended the Lexus LFA Driver Development Program at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. It was at that time that he notified me that his LFA would be arriving a week after his visit in Sonoma. Since he was not able to attend the de-vanning of his LFA, I was able to document the unboxing of his Pearl Blue beauty. Luckily his LFA arrived just in time before the unfortunate catastrophe in Japan. No stranger to Lexus and the “F” performance line, gengar knows a thing or two about Lexus as he has owned quite a few in the past. He currently owns an Obsidian with Alpine interior IS F. Now his “F” has a new stablemate, a 2011 Pearl Blue LFA. Since we’re already familiar with the LFA de-vanning process, its time to check out the goods. Congratulations gengar on the arrival of your brand new Lexus LFA!

Not only was gengar’s LFA de-vanned, LFA #057 arrrives and is to be delivered to its new owner in Chicago. To our knowledge, this is going to be the 2nd LFA delivery in the Chicagoland area, where LFA #026 was already delivered to its owner in the South Suburbs. I was told the owner of this particular LFA is very promiment in the area. Only time will tell if and when the new owner will step forward.

Lexus Champion
looks good. Black would be my 2nd choice after silver for the calipers. The interior looks good, not so flashy. I like the blue stitching. The red car is nice as well. Not a fan of the polished wheels, the only low point.

Looks like the red one made it to the Chicago area.
I stopped in to visit a friend at the Lexus dealer and they just took in delivery of an LFA. Thought I might share some pics

Confirming that the Red car is Mike McGrath's.
I called service to schedule my umteenth recall and the advisor said it was Mike's car. The advisor expects it to sit in the show room for a couple of months.
I will be there next week for service and will try to graba few more pics.
