They should have just added the wing, the wheels the front pieces and said it was! I'd be interested to see that car in the flesh!
Actually the winglets are not the same. The orange LFA does have screws. Even the pearl gray one had screwed on winglets.

Those aren't the same as when the prototype was first shown, they have changed it like I said. those aren't as noticeable as the first time around, i didn't mean they didn't have screws at all though, just not the big ones that were on it when it was white.

They are the same. When you mentioned in the previous post "no screws just little 'lines," you are referring to the latest U.S. Yellow LFA which is a new prototype. The yellow one has no screws for winglets and look more integrated.

This specific prototype (orange/grey/white/matte black) has always had the same type of screwed on winglets.

No, I did mean the current orange one, which was the white/matte black/gray one. From the first pics of the orange paint, the screws dont look as noticeable as they were when it was in matte black. the little 'strakes' or 'lines' like i call them are still there but it looks like the screws aren't as big, just from what i see on it though. But I guess we all know it's the same LFA.

So sad to see the "Smoky Granite Mica" be changed so quickly to "ORANGE"

See this thread...
Transforming the LFA Supercar for SEMA 2010 (from Pearl White to Smoky Granite Mica)

If you pay close attention to the photo's, you will know that parking lot...

Lexus USA sent the LFA once again to L.A. based B.A.D. Company, to repaint it Orange...

Just like they did for the other 2 paint jobs they have done on this very same LFA already...

It's really not a big secret, so I am not too sure why it can't be said...

So I finally got to see the car up close tonight and it looks pretty sick. I'll post some of my horrible low light pics tonight as the free wifi here at the hotel is slow. The LFA is being moved from the MGM Grand to Cobo Center. The car will be on display just in time for the opening of press day.

These cars are all great and such but are there any "real" people who own these cars? Sad for Lexus to make a car that is basically un-attainable by anyone unless your last name is a Kennedy.....or lotto winner

The point of the LFA is for us Lexus fans to look up to it and "aspire" to own it. It is meant to be a halo car for the F cars. While many will aspire to own an LFA, in reality quite a few will buy an IS F or one of the other future F cars. This is the same thing as Porsche had with the Carrera GT and Ferrari had with the Enzo. Lots of Porsche and Ferrari owners aspired to own a Carrera GT or LFA, even though many of them couldn't afford it. Many of them did buy lower models, and were proud to drive a car of a company that made something like the Enzo or a company that made the Carrera GT.

Every Lexus owner should feel proud now for owning a Lexus, because the LFA exists, and some future Lexus models will see some of the LFA's technologies filter down.

I didn't think I could afford an IS F when it first came out, but with some hard work and determination, I made it happen. The LFA of course is out of my league, but sky is the limit!
