Red face SL65 AMG BRABUS vs. LF-A

What would win? All opinions and ideas welcome! I am completely torn between these 2 cars and have NO CLUE which one I'd get if I ever had the funds for either.

Best,
Ashtray

P.S. If its a hands down on the Brabus winning...how about just a plain Black Series? I hope you all enjoy these pics! Got them off Google.

from a brute force point of view, i think the brabus might take it on the straight. that car just pulls insanely.

but when you ask the question, did you mean straight line, or track? i think lfa is a better track performance car. the sl65 is heavy and likely not as balanced

Meh, seeing as how maybe 1% of all the people on this board may be track rats and thats est high. Between those two i'd take the Brabus as any comfrontation im likely to have with an LFA is going to be on the street or highway (closed off of course) and unlikely to have to many sharp or hairpin turns.

The Brabus looks brutal. On a curvy track I'd think the LFA would prevail.

In that photo the back of the LFA looks kind of like panda bear's face.

I would take the LFA. The Brabus has so much useable power thanks to the invasive Mercedes traction control system. Jeremy Calrkson showed us this in one of the top gear episodes

Yep, I'd take the LFA too. Here some times the Stig pulled on the Top Gear track:

1:22.8 - Lexus LFA (wet)
1:22.9 - Ferrari F430 F1
1:23.0 - Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series
1:26.2 - Brabus S Biturbo Roadster

LFA easy, the SL65, even the Black series, is too heavy and lacks steering feel from the reviews I've read, it's just a car with brute force, not a real sports/track car ...

I like the looks of the SL65 BTW, but it's not as sexy as the LFA ......
