ver nice car/. Horrible color. I think black, white, grey, or even red would be a better color imho. If I spent that kind of money on a car I would want to pick the colors.

Ah ok, I thought they looked different in these pics, I must be imagining things.
Passionate Pink may be for you! Actually, I heard one of the customers who got an allocation is seriously considering Passionate Pink.........

the pearl yellow looked similar to the CT200h prototype i saw in previous articles. its very vibrant, and looks stunning. the pics dont show off the flakes well, but from what i saw, it looked great. i hadnt seen the "LFA" emblem on any of the other cars. it looks better without anything but the "L" logo in the rear, but thats just me. less than four months till the first one rolls out. those are some lucky people

Uhhh you do realize they do let you select the colors granted you are selected. Where have you been?

It'd look great with matching yellow brake calipers. I also wonder if they would let you customize with a yellow stitch on the inside. I'd like my car to match in and out. Dark wheels- dark metal. interior, yellow paint- yellow brake calipers and yellow stitching. A theme. I created a little them with the editor of blue and white. Blue paint white brake calipers, white seats blue floor/steering wheel. So many colors to choose from it's hard to say which one is the best! I love em all.

Awesome stuff, just stunning! Love the additional little details they've added to the car. The FINAL production cars that we will see arriving next year should have even more little touches.
It's absolutely AMAZING that Lexus continues to tweak, refine, and improve the LFA all the way up to the last minute before it goes into production.
That interior looks so sinister and sporty, just dazzling!

I gotta question- not sure if I should do it here or in the general LFA thread. But could someone shed some light onto the weight of the vehicle? R&T got their hands on one and the curb weight was over 3500lbs. What gives? Is it because these are just pre-production models or what? I know Lexus said the weight of the car would be between 326x and 34xx, so whats up with the pre-production ones weighing this much? Anyone have a clue?

They did choose the colors. From a businesss perspective a bright yellow LFA on the showroom is a great idea. You can't miss the car. I real treat for all to see.
Most Lexus employees have not seen the car. It's a great idea to have one around for the "Halo" effect.
