Thanks. Will be looking out for it. I really hope they have improved the prototypes by now since there are only 3 that are being circulated in the press for several months. Too bad they do not have a power lap board.

I really hope "Top Gear" could do a dry-lap of LF-A with The Stig. I firmly believe LFA can do a dry lap of 1:18 or better.

I beleive that as well and that is exactly why they will never take it back. Somebody get Lexus Europe to dog them. lol.

Did you notice that Lexus achieved the 3.6 secs 0-60 mph with two occupants?? That is what it says on the LFA website. I could imagine easily that being a 3.3 - 3.4 seconds in the final production version using the standard method of driver only.

I think Lexus also had said that the production models will come equipped with "launch control system" as well.

One of the things I have seen in drag racing the LF-A is that it really needs launch control system since it is a SMG type transmission. I am sure with a launch control, it can run mid-11s or even dip down in the low 11s. A 5.8 lbs/hp power-to-weight supports that.
