seeing and riding in the LFA at the Lexus F sport event in Homestead FL
yesterday was magical, and i will remember it forever.
1SICKLEX (mike) came from Atlanta on tuesday afternoon to central FL where i live, we napped some in the evening, left at 1a.m. and drove 350 mi. to homestead FL, getting there before the event opened
we took a nap in the car, and then got registered at 8a.m. when it started. got our great presentation on performance driving, then drove the Lexus cars (IS-F, IS350 w/ all f-sport goodies, IS-C with f-sport goodies, GS350, GS350 w/ f-sport goodies) around an autocross type course (fun, fun!!), then got another presentation about the LFA, then we went to the BIG track (nascar style banked oval with another infield tight course). a few, including mike and i, got a turn to ride with scott pruett, pro driver, in the LFA. 
scott's skills leave you speechless, he drove the car FLAT OUT, and the experience is unlike anything else.
in the years prior to this i was not on board with some of the early prototype design (looks), but as the final form came about i was totally sold. this is a HUGE deal for the entire auto industry, even if the production numbers are so small.
that a pro driver could thrash this prototype car around a track all day with no problems (except stops for gas, and a tire and brake pad change apparently), is remarkable.
oh, and they also had the AXIS GS and IS models there.
anyway, enough rambling, some pics i took. enjoy. i have a couple of videos too which i hope to get posted soon.

i had shutter speed too fast (DOH) but the LFA here is doing about 150mph

Awesome experience bit - Scott is one of my favorite drivers, so cool that he was there for this.

TURN UP YOUR SPEAKERS and if you have decent bandwidth select 720p and full size or double-ended arrow icon to expand the view.
